[Mika stops as she hears his voice, then makes a sharp sound of distress when she realizes where he's going. For a moment she looks like she wants to grab for him, only to shrink back, her painfully shrill keening sound only fading when she needs to inhale.

Instead of looking at the Once-ler though, she's staring up at the ride, her ears flattened to her scalp and her tail tucked firmly between her legs.]
