[Sabitsuki doesn't even look at the fop as she answers him. Her voice is awfully hoarse even on that one word, and she grips the handle of her broom more tightly with the hand that isn't holding the camera, and nudges it forward into the gloom.

It's pitch black. She can't see a thing.]

It's good to know that some others are made of sterner stuff. This should be no challenge.

[...Hm. Once they're fully inside, it really is difficult to see anything. Unnerving... but Sakuya will not allow himself to be shaken. They'd been given cameras, right? He holds his own up in front of him, snapping a picture for the flash of light it would provide.]

[In the instant of the camera flash, Sabitsuki's face looks like a mangled and ruined mess, with only a gaping maw visible on it.

She hasn't seemed to have noticed, herself. She lifts her own to take a snap.]

[At the sight, Sakuya lets out a distinctly avian screech, stumbling back and hitting an unexpectedly wet wall, though wet with what he can't quite say. In the flash he appears gaunt, arms scaly and fingers clawed, limbs bent at odd angles... it's too fast to catch much though. He feels for the door, which seems to have disappeared. His former decorum seems to have disappeared entirely.]

What manner of madness is this?!

[She squints at him, not sure of what she'd just seen. Her eyesight is not great at the best of times and it was a sudden, sharp flash. Had she imagined it?

He might hear her boots skiffing over the floor boards and then feel her hand come out to touch his arm.]
