MAKE-BELIEVES REBORN
[ WHO ]: Karkat and WHOEVER
[ WHERE ]: The Arcade
[ WHEN ]: From noon onwards, some time after the events of Visi's log.
[ OPEN/CLOSED? ]: OPEN
[ RATING ]: PG for swears probably IDK HOW RATINGS WORK.
[ WARNINGS ]: Nothing at the moment!
[ NOTES ]: Shenanigans
[Tired of all the creepy shit that slithers around the apartments, Karkat made the terribly intelligent decision to head out to town. He was lucky that he didn't run into any of the wandering spooks on his way past the Love Hotel, but he stopped close to the arcade and stared inside it at the machines for a long, long time before he eventually shouldered the door open.
Once inside, he rattled the tokens machine until it spat out a few at him. Finally, some good luck? Maybe? It would probably bite him on the ass later, but whatever. For now, he prowled around the machines, from the button mashers to the shooters to the racers and the dance ones, wondering which ones he should use it on.
In his intent searching, he didn't see the ghosts of children pressing their faces to the windows from the outside him, looking hopeful.

What we up and motherfuckin' gonna do, my palest of brothers? [Anywhere with Karkat was good enough for him. Sure, it made him a little more clingy than not, but Karkat didn't seem to mind none.]

But, well. That's just how it is. He straightens and jerks his thumb at two machines with guns in holsters.] Look. They've got a fucking horror game in this situation. Talk about over-thematic.
