[ Heh! When he actually gets into the thing, Ilya finally turns her bumper car around and focuses on him - she starts grinning at it, even. Not really in an omnious way, maybe just a little bit, but nothing beyond that.

She steers it directly at him, in fact. ]

There, I'm going to get youuu! [ At least she really is happy. She's even laughing. ]

Then let's hurry up and squeeze!

[ She laughs, dragging the other girl over to the bumper car all the same and already moving to sit in it. Come on, Viola, believe in the power of friendship.

And squeezing. Especially squeezing. ]

[ Maybe she doesn't even see him anymore. Kotomi just slowly starts shaking, putting her hands in front of her face, but they're so covered in blood that it only freaks her out more. It doesn't take long for the tears to come right after, it doesn't even take a moment anymore. Compared to her blank and slightly airy attitude she usually has, or even the usual shyness, these sounds are way different - it's just her kind of raw sobbing at just how frightening this place is.

How it's like nothing or nobody can save her. Like everything just gets worse. And people keep disappearing, and things keep getting more and more frightening.. ]

I.. 'd like to have a twin. [ She lingers on the first word a little as if she spoke up without thinking and then has to make sure what she's saying is okay before she finishes it. ]

[ she doesn't - its the wild swinging that eventually makes her drop the gun and pop one of the caps forward. it slams into the bottom of a target and bounces off to hit the wall with a loud crack. ]

[Oh, jeez... He tucks the box under his arm and kneels down until he's on her level. The box mewls at him again, but he's searching in his shirt for something until -] Aha! Here we go.

[A hankie. He begins to dab at her face.] C'mon, no need to start crying, right? That was a mean trick they played, sure... but you're a big strong girl, huh? [He wipes the worst of the blood off of her face - assuming she'll let him.

The box meows again, and this time he does open it and look inside at the kitten. ]

[What the heck is he going to do with a kitten?]

[So much squeezing. Viola hates every second of it, but they are eventually in the bumper car... with Ilya at the driver's side, of course.]

[She fixes Madotsuki with her unblinking stare for a moment, and then she grabs her hand in his and squelches along the freak show.]

He looks kind of embarrassed.]

[He keeps a firm hold of the puppy and leans forward, as close as he can.] Whatever that other thing is - stop it!

[ when nothing else happens, she finally can hear Yosuke shouting at her, and just... stands there. the whirring of her chainsaw stops, and she grips that cork gun again, staring straight ahead with wide eyes.

aim...aim... her hands are shaking, she shoots again. ]

[ ...it's nice. It's nice to see her smiling so freely. So Shirou sucks up all his dubiousness and discomfort, and he aims the car at Ilya's... ]

No, you won't! I'll win this ro...und...

[ He tries to suck up all his discomfort, anyway. But it rushes up his esophagus and-- ]

[ The zombie guts were just too much. He throws up all over the bumper car's controls. ]

[ She shakes her head. She didn't really come to watch them, but.. ]

It's.. more quiet here.. [ She didn't have to deal with all the people outside from the apartments. ]

[ Her voice is quiet, but even though she lets herself be dragged along by Visi, she doesn't really look directly at the girl. ]

Kotomi does let him wipe the blood away, but it's mostly since she's still pretty frozen in shock even though she's crying right now, the bloody remains he takes from her face mixed with tears by now. ]

I've heard about these.. you need to bump other things as fast as you can! So here we go! [ And they.. sure.. go... did I mention yet that Ilya's mother is a horrible driver, because it's pretty genetic and especially for a girl who's never even touched a car before. She's going so hard that it almost seems like they'll drive right out of the bumper car ring, and she drives so hard over some of the ghosts that the guts spill everywhere.

Even so, Ilya laughs, like a normal kid having a very normal time of her life. ]

Okay, that makes her stop her car, blinking at him instead. At first it seems like disgust mixed with surprise, but once she realises what's really going on, it changes to something more like concern. ]
