Today in the lobby of the first floor of the apartments, there is a tea party happening.

Not your usual tea party, of course - the two sitting and serving tea are not your regular hosts. At both their sides lay perfect replicas of their owners - minus a few key elements. The male of the pair, Vice, currently measuring out some matcha tea powder into a cup with his hands, is lacking proper human body parts... like the rest of his upper body. Out of that oddly attractive head (aside from the strange red plus eyes), and strong-looking arms, his legs are simply... meat.

Flesh.

Visi is sitting beside him, holding a cup of already steaming tea in her hands. What she'll do with it is anyone's guess; she's got a head and arms, but no torso and legs. Just like her brother, she's still flesh. Still, she seems quite content. Peaceful, even.

The doll beside her is perfectly formed, and has her same plus-marked eyes and ankle-length hair. She almost lovingly sets the cup of tea down in front of it.

"This is for you," she says. When she leans back, so looks at her brother. “This is what we're meant to do with dolls, isn't it?”

Without missing a beat, he'll respond, nodding his head, "Yes. It is."

Vice carefully pours hot water into the teacup he's found for his own doll. Underneath them lays a knit blanket that they've seemingly taken from a nearby room to sit on. "Please enjoy your tea." He speaks to his doll, but glances back up at his sister.

"Do we make them drink? They seem incapable of movement like ourselves."

[ There's a girl watching the whole thing going on from a small distance. Sure, she recognizes Visi alright, but the other one.. it's why she hesitates to come closer out of fear that it might be a bully, and she clings onto the doll she has in her hands even more as if it's her lifeguard, as painful as she memory of the man, of her father is.

She stares at it as if she's waiting for it to advice her on what to do here, but of course it doesn't say anything. It's.. a doll, just a doll.. he's not really here. He hasn't been for a long time..

Kotomi takes a deep breath before stepping closer, holding the doll in front of her as if she's trying to hide behind it despite it being so small. ]

H-hello..

[ Vice is the first to speak - to sit up straight. he sets the tea pot full of hot water down, and levels Kotomi with a blank look - not unfriendly just... devoid of any real emotion at the moment. ]

Sister, I think we have a guest for our tea party. She has a doll too.

[The last time Kotomi saw Visi, she wasn't wearing her head and she didn't have her arms. Still, she's distinctly recognisable, and it doesn't strike her as odd that the girl recognises her.

Smiling, she gets to her 'feet' and reaches out for Kotomi.]

Hello! Come and sit down, Kotomi. This is my brother, Vice. [She puts her hand on his shoulder, affectionately.] He's me, but with a male brain.

[Her eyes rest on the doll, and she wonders about it.] Do you want to serve him some matcha, too?

[ Her brain completely skips the first part due to the lack of honorific, but she manages to catch onto it after that - her with a male brain..? She's not sure if it works that way.. but she'll just accept it for now, nodding a little. First in Visi's direction, but then a liiittle bit in Vice's too.. ]

Um.. I.. didn't know there was a tea party for them.. [ She clutches the doll a little tighter. ]

That is because we have created it of our own will. We are the first and only tea party, and you are invited.

[She gestures for a place for Kotomi to put her doll, then pours some tea for it.]

Do you want some too? Your Flesh is complete, after all.

[ She doesn't pay any particular attention to the second sentence, figuring it's probably something that's just normal for them to say, and.. well, she does have all the flesh of her body still on there, so it makes sense.. ]

I'd like a little, yes.. I-if that's okay, that is.

[ She slowly sits down there, putting the doll next to her like they did. ]
